Medical Front Desk Receptionist
Seeking a professional and reliable front desk receptionist for a very busy medical office located in Pasadena. This role is essential in ensuring smooth day-to-day operations, providing excellent service to patients, and supporting clinical staff in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet patients, check them in/out, verify demographics, and collect copayments
Answer and triage high volumes of phone calls from patients, providers, pharmacies, and hospitals
Schedule appointments and in-office procedures accurately and efficiently
Input and maintain patient records in electronic medical systems
Obtain insurance authorizations and verify benefits through online portals
Navigate EMR, insurance, and hospital systems for data entry and coordination
Requirements:
Exceptional communication and customer service skills
Strong multitasking ability in a high-volume setting
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and web-based platforms
Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) preferred
Team-oriented with professionalism, discretion, and flexibility
